The Sea Grappler of Beaufort Charters fished 5 out of the last 6 days. Our half day inshore trips caught bluefish and Spanish. Offshore Friday and Saturday we scrapped up some bottom fish and slinger Mahi. But yesterday, Fathers’ Day, we hit the big ones, as well as lots of slingers and bottom fish. All were fun family trips with some very cool people aboard the boat.
Friday we had Rick Adams and his son Marine Lt. Josh from Massachusetts. Josh is about to leave the Corp to continue his education in a Master’s program. Good luck, young man. And Thank You for your service to our country.
Saturday, returning to us from a half day trip last summer were David Campbell and his son Will. This time they brought along David’s dad, Gene. Seeing 3 generations having fun fishing together warmed my heart and reminded me of the great times Dad, my 2 sons and I took Canada fishing trips together.
Sunday Mike Land’s family fished with us. Mike was a fellow Industrial Arts teacher, so we have a common connection. Fishing with Mike were his wife Susan and his 2 daughters Crystal and Ashley. The fish came to the party as well, and their next stop will be the freezer. It was pretty much nonstop action, and those 2 girls know how to fish!
Thanks to you all for helping to keep Beaufort Charters fishing!!
